“Nanotechnologies. Novel nanostructured and carbon materials”
The exhibition-seminar is organized by:
- Russian Ministry for Education and Science,
- Russian Scientific and Cultural Centre in Athens,
- Technological Institute for Superhard and Novel Carbon Materials (Russia).
The following reports of Russian speakers will be presented to the audience:
- About the Federal State Institution “Technological Institute for Superhard and Novel Carbon Materials” (TISNCM).
- Large man-made diamond single crystals: manufacture, properties and applications.
- CVD diamonds and their applications.
- Development of high-speed temperature sensors on the basis of doped diamond monocrystals.
- Carbon nanotubes and nanofibres for construction materials and functional applications.
- Mutual consistency of mechanical testing at micro- and nanometer scales as investigated with scanning nano-hardness tester NanoScan.
- About the UNICHIMTEK and Institute of New Carbon Materials and Technologies at the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
- Novel graphite materials and applications.
- Microsurgery ophthalmologic scalpels with diamond blade.
- Fulerit – a new nanostructured ultrahard fuleren polimer.
- Participation is free for all participants. For your oral reporting on the seminar you need to send us an abstract up to 2009 September 15.
The exhibition will be displayed in the hall lobby during the seminar.
English will be the working language of the conference.
